Practically Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie

I found this recipe in a magazine and like it even better than Toll House Cookies.

2 ¼ cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

¾ cup sugar

¾ cup brown sugar

2 cubes butter at room temperature

1 tsp vanilla

2 large eggs

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix dry ingredients. Set aside. Mix sugars with butter on low speed with mixer until mixture is creamed, not curdled. Add the dry mixture a little at a time using slow speed of mixer. Add eggs and beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Add chocolate chips and mix in by hand. . Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 10-11 minutes at 350 until pale golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet to cool.
