2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
½ cup water
1 cup butter
2 cups raw peanuts
1 tsp baking soda
Mix sugar, corn syrup, and
water in 3 qt saucepan. Bring to a boil. When syrup boils add butter. Cook to 230◦ and then add nuts and cook to hard crack stage
305◦.
Remove from heat. Stir in the baking soda. Pour onto 2 buttered cookie sheets. When cool, break into bite size pieces.
