Red Velvet Cake


from Tom Kraft’s Recipe Box

 

2 eggs

¼ cup butter

½ cup sugar

½ tsp salt

2 cups flour

2 oz red food coloring

2 tbsp cocoa

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup buttermilk

½ tsp baking soda

1 tbsp vinegar

 

Mix all ingredients and bake in 13 x 9 greased, floured pan at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool completely.
