Pumpkin Butter

3 cups mashed cooked pumpkin

1 ½ cup sugar

¼ cup apple juice

3 tbsp lemon juice

½ tsp each salt, cinnamon and cloves

¼ tsp allspice

 

Mix all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Simmer 15 minutes. If thickening too much add a little water. Put in jars and freeze.
