24 cups tomato puree
6 tbsp onion powder or one
chopped onion
3 cups sugar
2 tbsp cayenne pepper flakes
3 tbsp salt
2 tbsp mixed pickling spice
(see under sweet lime pickle)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
4 pkg unflavored gelatin
8 cups ground summer squash
8 cups ground green tomatoes.
Simmer until thickened. Pack
in sterile jars. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
