baking powder
1 tsp
salt
1 tbsp
shortening
Water,
enough to make bread textured dough
Mix
ingredients. Make into 6" rounds about 1/4" thick. Fry in 1/2" deep oil.
Drain on paper towels. Serve with chili or taco meat, cheese, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce for Navaho tacos
or serve with honey butter, cinnamon and sugar, or powdered sugar.
