Given to me by Reta Kirkbride at a church social in Dayton Idaho

 

1 cup scalded milk, cooled slightly

2½ tbsp sugar

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp yeast

1 egg

3 cup flour

½ tsp salt.

 

Mix and beat all ingredients with a spoon. Raise until double.  Roll out. Raise again. Make into balls, raise in greased

13 x 9 pans. Bake at 350◦ about 20 - 30 minutes.
