Scandinavian Cabbage Casserole
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
3/4 cup milk
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp beef bouillon powder
1 1/2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 small cabbage
1 tbsp butter
Mix rice, milk, beef, bouillon,
salt, sugar, and pepper. Break off individual cabbage leaves and boil until tender but not limp. Layer in casserole with meat
mixture. Start and end with cabbage. Dot top with butter. Bake covered for 1 hour. This is an easy way to make “cabbage
rolls”.
