Lasagna
1 lb ground beef browned
1 chopped onion
1 can tomato paste
1 qt chopped tomatoes with
juice
1 tbsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp each salt, pepper,
and garlic
1 pkg lasagna noodles
1 lb grated cheddar cheese
or 1 lb grated Italian
Blend cheeses (like provolone,
parmesan,
romano, etc.)
Simmer beef, vegetables,
and spices together for sauce.
Boil noodles according to
the package instructions. Drain noodles.
Make filling from following
ingredients:
1 small container cottage
cheese
2 eggs
1 cup grated parmesan-romano
cheese blend
1 tbsp parsley
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Layer noodles, filling, meat sauce and cheese in 13x9 baking dish. Bake at 350◦ for about 20 minutes.
